About Sara

I work with people who have busy brains. Those who think deeply, feel intensely, and are often exhausted from managing themselves.

Many of the people I support experience anxiety, ADHD, trauma, burnout, or significant life transitions. What they often have in common is chronic self-monitoring and long-standing pressure to cope well.

My work focuses on helping you understand your patterns, not override them. We look at how you respond under pressure, especially in relationships and moments of self-doubt.

How I approach this work

I blend counselling, mindful movement, and body-based practices to explore how you respond under pressure. By slowing down patterns in your reactions, decisions, and relationships, space opens for clearer understanding and more deliberate responses over time. The pace stays manageable so steadiness builds before insight, and capacity grows before change.

Support remains practical and flexible, grounded in what is present and genuinely useful.

Why this work matters to me

As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent person, I understand the pressure of living with a busy, sensitive mind in environments that don’t always accommodate it. That experience shapes a way of working that values clarity, flexibility, and approaches that meet you where you are, rather than asking you to reshape yourself to fit a model.

My background

I’m a registered Counsellor (Bachelor of Counselling in progress), Reiki Master, and Yoga, Pilates, and Barre instructor, with experience across private practice, virtual and phone-based support, residential rehabilitation, education, and trauma-informed mental health settings. I integrate evidence-informed therapy with movement and mindfulness to support more reflective responses, greater emotional steadiness, less self-monitoring, and clearer decisions.
