About Sara
I work with people who have busy brains. People who think a lot, feel deeply, and are often exhausted from coping.
Many of the people I support experience anxiety, ADHD, trauma, burnout, or significant life transitions. What they often have in common is a nervous system that has been under pressure for a long time.
My work focuses on helping people understand what’s happening in their body and mind, rather than trying to fix or override it.
How I approach this work
I take a nervous system–informed approach that blends counselling, mindfulness, and body-based support.
This means we pay attention to patterns in thoughts, emotions, and the body, and work with them at a pace that feels manageable. Regulation and safety come before insight or change.
Support is practical, flexible, and collaborative. We focus on what’s present and what will genuinely support you, rather than what “should” be happening.
Why this work matters to me
I’m a late-diagnosed neurodivergent person. I understand what it’s like to live with a busy, sensitive brain in a world that doesn’t always accommodate it.
That lived insight shapes how I work. I prioritise clarity, flexibility, and approaches that adapt to you, rather than expecting you to adapt to a model.
My background
I’m a registered Counsellor (Bachelor of Counselling in progress), Reiki Master, and Yoga, Pilates, and Barre instructor. I’ve worked across private practice, virtual and phone-based support, residential rehabilitation, education, and trauma-informed mental health settings.
I integrate evidence-informed therapeutic approaches with mindfulness and somatic practices to support regulation, reflection, and reconnection with yourself and others.
If you’re looking for support that is calm, clear, and designed for busy brains, you’re welcome to explore working together.
